Meet The Coach

Allison O’Beirne CHt, CLC

Board Certified Hypnotherapist | Certified Identity Coach | Mother of 1 | Proud Disco Fan.

I'm Allison (Allie) O’Beirne, and I’m so glad you’re here!

Board Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Identity Coach and founder of First Me, Then Mom.

My mission is to rewrite the outdated belief that “good moms” must sacrifice themselves, showing instead that when moms put themselves first, they become calmer, stronger, and more present. Blending intuitive coaching, NLP, and hypnosis, I help moms break free from guilt, survival mode, and disconnection so they can mother with confidence, presence, and ease.

Why I do what I do:

My mom is one of the strongest, most determined women I know. Like millions of women, she carried the belief that to be successful; as a mom, a professional, a wife, she had to give everything of herself. And while she achieved incredible success, I also saw how that self-sacrifice made life extra challenging for her. It was like she was climbing a mountain while wearing a backpack full of bricks, and a pair of Louis Vuitton stilettos. But she didn’t choose to wear those things, they had been placed there (without her knowledge or consent mind you) generation by generation of women before her who also believed they HAD to wear these things in order to be successful and make it up the mountain.

My work helps moms take off the (subconscious) backpack and pumps and therefore, lighten the load, and not only climb the hills of motherhood with more ease, but also enjoyment, peace and presence.

Because the societal belief that “motherhood requires self-sacrifice” is unrealistic, unhealthy, and untrue, and it’s why so many moms struggle to put their needs first and then are riddled with guilt when they do.

I believe it’s part of my purpose to help change that.

Education & Training:

  • Board Certified Hypnotherapist

  • Certified Life Coach/Self-Discovery Coach

  • NLP Practitioner

  • Ongoing training in hypnosis, coaching & NLP.

Self sacrifice doesn’t make you a better mother, it makes you a burnt out one.

I wonder if you can imagine how much easier motherhood (and life) will feel once you remove the backpack and pumps and make space for your authentic self to lead the way.
